FAQ

Are CBD products legal in all 50 states?
Yes, as long as they are derived from hemp, not marijuana, and contain less than 0.3% THC. No medical marijuana card is required to purchase or use hemp-derived CBD products.
What is the shelf life of CBD products?
The average shelf life of CBD products is generally 14 to 24 months; this can be affected by the way the product is stored. Heat, light, time, and exposure to air are factors to consider. A cool, dark, dry environment is best for promoting longevity. When minimally exposed to environmental influences, CBD products can last a very long time without losing efficacy.
Will CBD influences results of a drug test?
Most drug tests screen for the psychoactive compound THC, not CBD. However, full-spectrum hemp extracts may contain trace amounts of THC, so could cause a positive result when screening urine and blood specimens, especially when taken at high doses.
What is the correct dosage of CBD?

An effective dosage can range from as little as 5mg of CBD per day and can go up to 150mg per day. Be sure to start low, and go slow. Take a few small doses over the course of the day, rather than one big dose. Use the same dose for several days, observe the effects, and, if necessary, adjust the amount.

Will CBD get me high?
CBD is non-psychoactive, which means that, unlike THC, it does not cause a “high”. The two compounds have fundamentally different properties, benefits, and effects.
What is a terpene?

Terpenes may play a key role in differentiating the effects of various cannabis strains. Some terpenes might promote relaxation and stress-relief, while others potentially promote focus and acuity.

Over 100 different terpenes have been identified in the cannabis plant, and every strain has a unique terpene profile.

Our History

Meet Jennifer Davis

I’m Jenny, a 55 year old woman married for 20 years to the Love of my life. The mother of 2 son’s and 2 step-daughters and am blessed with 2 granddaughters. I worked as an LPN for 17 years. In 2007, while working as a Home Health Nurse, I was involved in an auto accident. I came away terribly shaken with what I thought to be minimal injuries. I was stiff and sore all over but the initial shock forsook further physical evaluation. I played sports as a girl and expected to improve by just “walking it off”. To my surprise my condition deteriorated though. I tried to continue working while seeking answers for my ongoing and worsening pain. After a month I was unable to work. The symptoms multiplied. (Extreme headaches, nose bleeds, Vertigo, imbalance, un-retractable pain, muscle spasms, mental health stresses.)

In 2009, after seeing multiple Doctors and endless examinations I was finally diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. My brain dropped into my neck, causing an 11mm descent, blocked cerebral spinal fluid flow and pressure on my brain stem. I was blessed to find an amazing Neurosurgeon/Chiari Specialist in Seattle. In 2010, I underwent Fossal Decompression surgery at Harborview Hospital. Though this relieved my excruciating headaches and briefly lessened some of my other symptoms, I continued to suffer on a daily basis. I was unable to return to work. I was on a number of medications and dealing with an overwhelming amount of stress and fatigue. When I approached my Doctor about ongoing prognosis and treatment, he suggested I find “alternative medicines”.

Being a novice gardener and backyard beekeeper I began to blend these hobbies while investigating more natural and sustainable relief. I joined the medical marijuana club. This was a difficult decision because of my years of involvement in a recovery program, yet I have no doubt that this was the best decision. I was finally finding periodic relief and felt somewhat whole again. After various experimentations I created a topical product, “Buzzed Bee Balm”, that changed my life.

I began sharing with friends and loved ones experiencing great results in relieving their various symptoms as well. I was able to cross over from the majority of my Prescription Medications to a combination of cannabis products that provided me more natural and sustainable relief. My youngest son was a Combat Medic in the Army. One of his military friends transitioned his family farm into a Medical Hemp Farm producing CBD which enabled me to transition Buzzed Bee Balm into a full spectrum hemp product. This conversion improved the product on multiple fronts and the accessibility has greatly expanded.

SO here we are. I have passed the new and improved “Buzzed Bee Balm” on to an amazing group of people, all with their own personal stories bonding them in a beautiful mosaic, my hope is that Buzzed Bee Balm will provide an alternative choice, effectiveness and sustainability to those that are both financially broke and physically broken.

“Keep on Keeping on!”
